The Candles is a small charity that supports a group of 18 HIV orphaned cousins who live tohether in Kabesheshe village in Southwest Uganda. They are all sponsored by my dedicated and loving aunt and funded by sales from my handmade cards plus various other handmade goods and also by donations from family, friends and generous people.
While sponsoring the oldest of the cousins in Kamapala city his grandmother past away. When only 17 years of age he became the head of the household of his 18 younger cousins. Since then my aunt has taken them all on helping them out as much as she able too.
